A Campaign of Faith, Family & Fellowship

Help Abimbola
Complete His Training

Help cover Abimbola's tuition at Edinburgh Theological Seminary — so this faithful pastor, who has served one of the world's most persecuted Christian communities, can complete his theological training.

The Goal

What We're Raising

This campaign raises one thing and one thing only: Abimbola's tuition fees. Every pound goes straight to Edinburgh Theological Seminary.

Tuition fees

£24,059

The full cost of Abimbola's theological training at ETS — paid directly to the seminary. Genuinely any sum helps; every pound gets us closer.

Help Make It Happen

His Story

Meet Abimbola Olawore

Abimbola Olawore with his wife and children

Abimbola is a pastor and theological student from Nigeria, currently studying online at Edinburgh Theological Seminary. Despite the vast distance, he has become a deeply respected presence within the ETS community — a man whose faith, character, and dedication have left a mark on many fellow students.

He has worked for years in Nigeria, a country that faces some of the most severe Christian persecution in the world. In that context, his theological education has never been merely academic — it has been the foundation for ministry with profound, real-world consequences, and it is ministry he intends to continue from Edinburgh.

Completing his theological training at Edinburgh Theological Seminary — deepening the study he has pursued so faithfully from afar, and continuing his pastoral calling — would be genuinely transformative for him, for his family, and for the wider Christian community he will go on to serve.

Why This Matters

Context You Should Know

🌍

The Highest Persecution Rate

Nigeria has the highest Christian persecution rate in the world. The men and women serving the church there do so at great personal cost. Abimbola is one of them.

📚

A Rarity in Nigeria

Solid theological education is a rarity in Nigeria. Access to the kind of rigorous training that equips church leaders well is limited — which is exactly why what ETS is offering Abimbola matters so much.

🎓

Training He'll Carry Home

Funding his tuition lets Abimbola complete a rigorous theological education at ETS — equipping him for a lifetime of faithful ministry among the community he serves.

"A truly life-changing opportunity — a new beginning for a faithful pastor and his family."
